French Perfumery Workshop located in Wong Chuk Hang
Join us in our vibrant Hong Kong lab to create your own unique scent with bright and colorful notes. Mix, explore, and take home a 50ml custom perfume in a bottle bursting with your creativity. This workshop is designed for all perfume lovers with no prior experience and conducted by Lavinia Cheng, a qualified perfumer from Grasse Institute of Perfumery, France.

Inspired by hot spring baths in Japan, Onsen is a marine and fresh fragrance with clean florals of neroli and lilac reminiscent of an outdoor spring bath. Accented with juicy melon and yuzu and layered with sandalwood, oakmoss and musk; invigorating and energizing.

Perfumery is art — it is a very challenging journey for an independent/artisanal perfumer, yet there are a lot of worthwhile moments to remember; from batches of trial-and-error here and there, to serious formulations down to a precision of 0.001%; and of course, unexpected events such as accidentally overdosing a fruity accord and turning a marine fragrance into a fruit bomb, or spilling a cloyingly sweet component and turning the studio into a candy-floss carnival for a month straight. Huge shoutout to my family and friends for the unfaltering encouragement and being my pillar of strength since the very beginning. I am also very grateful for all the massive support and generous advice I received from the fragrance community all this time. I have learnt and gained a lot of valuable insights from you all.
